Happy Thanksgiving from the Takemoto's. May today be full of reflection on the things the Lord has done for you and those you love. He deserves all the praise! We are so thankful.

Battlefield Baby

No one could have prepared me for the gamut of emotions that occurred during the first few months of becoming a new mommy. Sorting through all those emotions has often left me feeling like a casualty of war, hence the name of the blog. Everyone tells you ‘it gets better’ and that phrase just does not register to a new mommy’s mind, we truly just can’t comprehend it. And then it happens, IT GETS BETTER!! The victories on the baby battlefield become more frequent and you sit back and relish in the ‘better’. Its time to talk about new mommyhood - the place of Grace that has brought me closer to my Maker.
